Canada getting Acura TSX Sport wagon

Honda Canada finally confirmed Monday that it will bring the hot-looking Accord Wagon sold in Europe to our shores as a TSX Sport wagon.

We’ve been waiting years for Honda to bring a wagon back to the fold, and the 2011 Acura TSX Sport Wagon will make its debut at the New York International Auto Show on Wednesday, March 31.

Honda Canada revealed little else Monday ahead of the official presentation later this month, not even including a picture to whet our appetites, only confirming the TSX Sport wagon would arrive at Acura dealerships in the late fall as a 2011 model, joining the 4-cylinder and V6-powered TSX sports sedans already on sale.

Key details, such as power choices and transmissions, will have to wait for now, but expect the same engines as in the sedan, the 201 hp 4-cylinder, and the delightful 280 hp 3.5-litre V6, hopefully with a manual transmission choice.
